BORN ON THE RIVER
Knotwater Barbecue Company was inspired by a 2010 fishing trip with family and friends on the New River located on the North Carolina-Virginia border. After a long day of raisin' hell on the river, the party was just getting started around the campfire where the smell of grilled catfish, foil potatoes and moonshine filled the fresh mountain air. After a few hours of hootin', hollerin', and about nine (or twelve?) swigs of 'shine too many, we all stumbled into our tents. The next day (later that morning) we were all a little slow gettin' around when my brother looked across our moonshine stricken campsite and simply mumbled, "Well...that s**t's (K)not water."
BUILT ON TRADITION
Fast forward fifteen years, #KnotwaterBBQ is makin' a comeback! The Knotwater Barbecue Company is official! We're excited to introduce y'all to our new (hell, our first!) line of barbecue products! Knotwater Barbecue Co. was built with simple ingredients; Family, Friends and Fun! We will continue to operate on those principles and we're real happy you decided to join us! The fun is just gettin' started!
